Is TVIB Software completely free?

TVIB software base version (TSAP201) is included for free (perpetual license) when you purchase any of our data acquisition systems. Some advanced  application modules (Order analysis, FRF test, acoustic analysis, etc.) require a paid upgrade. See TVIB datasheet for details.

We offer free technical support via email or online for all our customers’ for the first one year and under AMC. After one year of purchase, Non-AMC customers will be charged for technical support via email or online. Onsite support will be charged for all the customers even under AMC.

Yes. We offer a fully unlocked  14 days evaluation version of TVIB software. By clicking on the download button you will be asked to fillup a registration form. An email will be sent to your registered email id with the download link and trial license key, You can download the installer and obtain your evaluation license.

Note: This trial version is an uncalibrated software meant for sound card based devices. This is not compatible with 3rd party DAQs other than the devices with sound card interface.

TVIB software is designed to seamlessly work with TIERA’s PhonoVibe series of DAQs, including 2, 4, and 8 channel devices, as well as the PhonoVibe Eco X series ranging from 4 to 8 channel systems.

It also extends its compatibility to other models such as Digiducer Model 333D01 and Modal Shop Model 485B39 two-channel analyzer.

Additionally, TVIB supports NI hardware including both Voltage and IEPE types (like 9234, 9231, 4431/2, 9232) with options for controlling IEPE on/off and AC/DC coupling. Furthermore,

TVIB is also compatible with Sinus Apollo light/Box hardware, MCC/DT DAQs, and can be configured to support Arduino boards as per demand.

Not always. All the updates to TVIB software are free the first one year. The purchased version is perpetual. We release a new major version as required. As TVIB software is very economic, we have kept an AMC amount for our software which is 10% of the total price of purchase per year. AMC has to be signed and paid during the time of purchase or during the one-year warranty period. All the performance updates, new features, and bug fixes are available for the upgrade by downloading and running the installer from the website. Contact licensing@tieraonline.in for getting more details regarding AMC. 

AMC Customers:

  • For module upgrades, only the price of the new modules needs to be paid for a new web-based key. Previously purchased modules won’t incur an additional charge.
  • For module upgrades, only the price of the new modules needs to be paid to receive a dongle (provided at no extra cost). Previously purchased modules won’t incur an additional charge.

Non-AMC Customers:

  • Non-AMC customers must pay for both new and previously purchased modules, as well as the price of the dongle, when obtaining a new key or dongle. This process is akin to a new purchase.

Web-Based Key Activation is a licensing method that allows users to activate TVIB Software on their systems using a unique license key provided by us. Upon purchasing our software, you will receive a license key via email or through your account on our website. You can then enter this key into the software activation interface to unlock its features.

The activation process requires an active internet connection. Web-Based Key Activation offers the advantage of easy and quick activation without the need for additional hardware. It allows for seamless installations on various devices while keeping your license information securely stored in our servers. Additional modules can be purchased and activated by inputting the new license key. Contact licensing@tieraonline.in for upgrades.

 Depending on your purchased license, you may be able to use Web-Based Key Activation on multiple devices within the allowed usage limits of maximum 3 computers at a time. Check your license agreement for more details. In case of re-installing TVIB on the same three PC’s after a total of 3 activations, users are requested to contact licensing@tieraonline.in for support. You will be required to email/provide the MAC is of the PCs that you are using to us.

Dongle-Based Activation involves the use of a physical hardware dongle to authenticate and activate our software on your system. This makes the software PC independent. After purchasing our software, you will receive a dongle that needs to be connected to your computer’s USB port. The software will communicate with the dongle to verify the license and grant access to the software’s features. Dongle-Based Activation provides an additional layer of security by requiring physical presence of the dongle. It’s a preferred option for users who prioritize offline activation and enhanced protection against unauthorized use.

 You can transfer the dongle to a different computer as long as it is within the terms of your license agreement. Please note that the dongle must be connected to the computer you’re using the software on. 

Note, for upgrading the software modules, one will have to purchase new dongle with activation information for the purchased modules. Switching between activation methods may be possible based on your license agreement and our policies. Please reach out to licensing@tieraonline.in for assistance.

If you’ve lost your dongle, please reach out to our customer support immediately. We offer procedures to assist you in recovering or replacing your license key or dongle. Please note, lost dongles typically require a new purchase at the price of the software, as our products are already heavily discounted. Further discounts cannot be provided for replacement purchases.
